Peishen Liang is a London-based photographer and lens-based artist who has worked across photography and visual art since 2018. His practice spans documentary, portraiture and conceptual image-making, moving between observational work and constructed scenes. He examines how individuals are perceived, represented and shaped by social and cultural forces. His work was selected for the Best Images section of Dodho Magazine’s international Monochromatic Awards 2026, placing it among 100 recognised works worldwide.

The current archive moves between public space, ritual and gendered visibility. Threshold attends to departure and belonging within transport hubs; Holy Static observes faith as a lived public practice; Misread considers the way feminine appearance can distort how competence is perceived.

Across these projects, photographs are treated not as isolated images but as bodies of work whose meaning emerges through sequence, duration and text.
